On the morning of December 30th, Apple recently released several video advertisements to promote their slow-motion selfie video function.

The core promotional point of these video ads is "Slofie", which is actually a word created by Apple to describe the slo-motion+Selfie function of the latest iPhone 11 series, that is, the 120 frames per second photography capability of the front camera. The word "Slofie" is actually not found in iOS, it is just a marketing term used by Apple for this feature. Apple mentioned this word on stage when it launched the iPhone 11, but on the phone, both the front and rear cameras are simply called slo-mo.

Android phones don’t have such features, but these ads use funny ways to promote them, such as a mother using a hair dryer to simulate a fashion blockbuster, a man dancing on a lawn sprinkler like a song in the rain, or three sisters filled with fairy spirit in a cold storage…

Each new video shows off the "Slofie" feature in a different context, and Apple advertises that Slofie lets you "turn any selfie into an epic video in slow motion on iPhone 11's front-facing camera."
