Previously, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business and executive director of Huawei, said at the Huawei MatePad and all-scenario new product launch conference: Huawei Mate30 series has been on the market for 60 days and global shipments have exceeded 7 million units, a year-on-year increase of 75%.

The industry chain revealed that there are many reasons for the increase in shipments of the Mate 30 series. For example, after the mobile phone was launched on the market, there was sufficient supply, and some merchants and platforms began to reduce prices for promotions, which drove part of the sales. In addition, many users who wanted to try 5G bought the 5G version of the Mate 30 series in advance, and the Chinese market is its main sales market.

An insider at Huawei has revealed that Huawei’s mobile phone sales in the Chinese market this year have reached nearly 250 billion yuan.

Earlier media reports said that at a recent internal meeting of Huawei, Huawei Consumer Business CEO Richard Yu revealed that "Huawei's global smartphone shipments this year will be around 230 million units, having completed the full-year mission. The final number will depend on the final month's sprint, but we have already surpassed Apple's iPhone."

Reports from some third-party research institutions also show that Huawei's share of the domestic smartphone market in the third quarter of this year has reached 42%, with an annual growth rate of 66%. In the sluggish domestic market environment, this is the sixth consecutive quarter that Huawei has achieved double-digit growth.
