Electroacoustics is a basic means of interaction in the interconnection of all things and the intelligent world, and has core applications in the fields of smart terminals, autonomous driving, robots, smart homes, smart cities, etc. Therefore, Huawei and Nanjing University have huge room for cooperation in the future. It is hoped that the two sides will use the laboratory as a platform to carry out efficient cooperation and promote the long-term progress in the field of electroacoustics.
Guo Kun, director of Huawei Nanjing Research Institute, believes that he hopes that the Electroacoustic Innovation Laboratory can become a highland in the field of international electroacoustic research and play a leading role in global connections. At the same time, it will promote the transformation of research results and lead Huawei's innovation direction in the field of consumer electroacoustics.

据悉,沈勇教授团队长期从事电声学研究,承担国家科技项目和企业委托研发项目,取得了较为突出的成果,预计IEC即将发布由沈勇教授团队主导的微型扬声器国际标准。近年来,该研究团队与华为已多次展开合作。电声创新实验室将聚焦基础声学理论研究,致力于实现全链路声学系统设计能力的突破。
Huawei and Nanjing University have also cooperated on many issues before. On July 25 this year, the Huawei-Nanjing University LAMDA Artificial Intelligence Joint Laboratory was established.
In recent months, Huawei has signed contracts with universities, and the cooperation covers many fields such as smart cars, 5G, big data, ICT, etc. Judging from the newly established laboratory between Huawei and Nanjing University, Huawei may accelerate innovation in the field of electroacoustics.
