According to the latest news, US officials decided on Monday to delay the implementation of the ban on Huawei by 90 days until mid-August, on the grounds that Huawei and its business partners need time to upgrade software and deal with some contractual obligations.

As soon as the news came out, Google also temporarily stopped its plan to stop cooperating with Huawei. According to the Wall Street Journal, sources said that after the Ministry of Commerce issued a 90-day temporary license on Monday, Google immediately suspended its plan to cancel access to some functions of Huawei phones and will continue to supply software.

Both Google and Huawei declined to comment on the report.

According to Reuters yesterday, Google has terminated some of its business dealings with Huawei. This means that users of Huawei smartphones outside of China will not be able to update the Android operating system; Huawei's new phones in the future will also not be able to use Google services such as the Play Store and Gmail.

Recently, as soon as the US government issued a sales ban on Huawei, US companies such as Google, Intel, and Qualcomm have complied with the policy and gradually stopped supplying key software and components to Huawei.
