AME provides the most suitable low-dropout LDO & high-efficiency DC-DC Switch IC. The full range of AME provides dual protection of over-current protection and thermal shutdown protection to ensure the safety of terminal products. Currently, AME supplies power management solutions for tablet computers and peripheral devices, and its product features are as follows:

DC-DC BUCK Converter:

AME5248/5248A 1.5MHz, 600mA Synchronous Buck Converter:
AME5248/5248A products are 600mA pulse width modulation/pulse frequency modulation synchronous buck DC-DC converters (PWM/PFM Synchronous Buck DC-DC Converters), 100% duty cycle provides low dropout operation, and the highest efficiency can reach 95%. At extremely low loads, AME5248/5248A automatically enters pulse frequency modulation to maintain output voltage regulation, plus 20μA quiescent current and Enable Function to support power saving mode. All of the above features can extend the battery life of portable systems. The fixed 1.5MHz switching frequency allows the use of smaller filter components during design, which is very suitable for thin and compact portable devices. AME5248/5248A provides two modes for customers to choose from: fixed output voltage (1.0~3.3V) and adjustable output voltage (AME5248 is 0.6V~VIN, AME5248A is 0.5V ~ VIN). AME5252 Dual Synchronous, 600mA, 1.5MHz Step-Down DC/DC Converter:
The AME5252 is a 600mA dual output synchronous switching step-down DC-DC converter (PWM Synchronous Buck DC-DC Converter) with higher performance and saves circuit board space. The fixed 1.5MHz switching frequency allows the use of smaller filter components during design, making it very suitable for thin and compact portable devices. The 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range is suitable for use in single lithium battery-powered applications. The AME5252 operates in current mode with a 100% duty cycle to provide low dropout. Its high efficiency can reach 96%, the operating temperature is –40°C~125°C, and it has a built-in soft start function.

White LED/OLED Driver:

AME5142/5142A/5142B High Efficiency 6 White LED Driver With Open LED Protection:
The AME5142 series can drive a single string of 1~6 or multiple strings and multiple parallel white LED driver components. It uses a fixed 1.2MHz switching frequency, a current control mode DC/DC boost component, and a built-in N-channel switch to drive 6 series white LEDs. The AME5142 can operate between 2.7V and 5.5V input voltage range, suitable for use in single lithium battery powered applications. The 1.2MHz switching frequency can effectively reduce the size of external inductors and capacitors. Built-in 26V or 28V overvoltage protection function can prevent the load from being unconnected and generating unexpected high voltage. The highest efficiency can reach 88%, and an internal 0.104V reference voltage is provided, which can be used as LED current limiting to obtain the highest efficiency; in addition, AME5142 provides an Enable Function to support power saving mode and extend battery life!

AME5144 High Efficiency, 37V Step-Up Converter for 2 to 10 White LEDs:
AME5144 can drive a single string of 2 to 10 white LEDs and provide 25mA, current control mode DC/DC boost element. The built-in N-channel switch can drive 10 series white LEDs. The AME5144 can operate between 2.6V and 5.5V input voltage range, suitable for use in single lithium battery powered applications. The 1MHz switching frequency can effectively reduce the size of external inductors and capacitors. The built-in 38.5V overvoltage protection function can prevent the load from being unconnected and generating unexpected high voltage. The maximum efficiency can reach 86%. In terms of operation, the dimming method of AME5144 can be controlled by two modes: Analog and Direct-PWM Internal Filter.

Low Dropout Voltage Regulator:
Many different LDOs are used in the internal components of tablet computers and peripheral devices to supply the required voltage and current. AME has many corresponding solutions for this. AME8890 provides a fixed voltage of 1.2V, 150mA current output, low noise, and provides Enable & Power-Good Function, allowing customers to choose between Power-Saving Mode and Power-Good applications. AME8818 has both fixed voltage and adjustable output, with an output range of 1.2~4.5V, 300mA current output, PSRR of approximately 60uA, and provides Enable & Bypass Function, allowing customers to choose between Power-Saving Mode and low noise. AME8805 provides a fixed voltage of 1.3~5.0V, 600mA current output, and a quiescent current of approximately 30uA. AME8815 provides a fixed voltage of 1.5~5.0V, 1.5A current output, and a quiescent current of approximately 45uA.

Voltage Detector:
AME8550 can detect a voltage range of 1.6~6.0V and a detection interval of 0.1V, operating in a voltage range of 1.2V~6.5V. In addition, the detection accuracy of AME8550 is ±2%, the temperature coefficient is ±100ppm/℃, the static current is about 0.8uA, and the output has two types: Open-Drain and Push-Pull. In terms of packaging, SOT-23/TSOT-23/SOT-25/TSOT-25/SOT-89/SC-70 are provided, so that users can have a variety of references to choose from.
