Dongguan, China - Media OutReach Newswire - March 28, 2024 - At the Huawei Cloud APAC Partner Connection Summit 2024 held on March 26-27, Big Data & AI, deepening partner cooperation, and a solid ecosystem partner system were seen as the next-generation growth engines for the industry's digital transformation.

Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Services, delivered an opening speech. She said that Huawei Cloud's tremendous growth over the past four years was due to the strong support of its partners. She pointed out that in the Asia-Pacific region, the number of partners with annual revenues exceeding US$10 million, US$5 million, and US$1 million increased by 300%.

Kang Ning, President of Huawei Cloud Global Ecosystem Department, shared the key points of Huawei Cloud's Ecosystem Strategy for 2024. "Partners are the key to Huawei Cloud's success. We currently have more than 45,000 partners around the world, providing end-to-end services to customers. By combining online and offline sales channels, we have brought thousands of sales opportunities to partners and achieved a 123% sales growth through Huawei Cloud Store KooGallery, achieving a win-win situation."

Corning further elaborated that Huawei Cloud will work with partners to focus on six major industries: finance, retail, operators, healthcare, education and automobiles, to create more than 100 joint solutions to accelerate the digital transformation of industry customers. In addition, Huawei Cloud will also launch the "Digital Transformation and System Integration Partner Program" and dispatch Partner Success Managers to provide on-site manpower support for local partners.
Hybrid cloud is leading in all aspects and making rapid breakthroughs in the big data and AI markets
Zeng Xingyun, President of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific, said that in 2023, Huawei Cloud's business in Asia Pacific will grow by 77% overall, with the number of big data and AI projects increasing fivefold and revenue increasing more than tenfold. Huawei Cloud has become the fastest growing mainstream cloud service provider in the Asia Pacific region.

Its hybrid cloud market share ranked first in Hong Kong, Thailand, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Sri Lanka, and second in Singapore and Malaysia, making it the first choice for government and enterprise customers' digital transformation.
Zeng Xingyun also mentioned that Huawei Cloud and its partners will work together for mutual benefit and will cooperate in six major areas: sales sharing, market sharing, ecosystem sharing, infrastructure sharing, technology sharing, and platform sharing.

Nicole Lu, President of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Sales Partner Development Department, said in her speech that in 2024, Huawei Cloud will continue to strengthen the partner win-win model in Asia Pacific, relying on partners to help us build and develop the market, enabling partners to directly reach customers, thereby discovering business opportunities and expanding business scope.
Lu Yanping also said that the "Partner Revenue Doubling Plan" launched in 2023 will be further expanded to attract partners who are willing to increase revenue to millions of dollars, willing to invest in the long term and grow rapidly. Huawei Cloud will provide an additional 15% incentive to help partners achieve their goals. Cloud for AI, AI for Cloud
Regarding how to utilize AI, William Fang, Chief Product Officer of Huawei Cloud, emphasized Huawei Cloud's strategy of "Cloud for AI, AI for Cloud" in his speech.
On the one hand, Cloud for AI focuses on how cloud infrastructure can provide strong support for AI applications, including solving capacity and cost challenges brought by AI-native storage, creating higher data value for AI, and ensuring the highest level of security compliance.
On the other hand, AI for Cloud uses Pangu big models to build a bridge between AI and the industry, using powerful scenario models and industry models to face the thorny challenges of thousands of industries and help customers solve practical problems. For example, Pangu automobile big models provide AI capabilities to assist in automobile design, and Pangu meteorological big models can provide typhoon forecasts, etc.
Several innovative products that drive the collaboration between AI and the cloud were mentioned at the meeting, including GaussDB, a next-generation distributed database that provides high reliability and high performance, and Huawei Cloud Stack, a hybrid cloud platform.
At the conference, Huawei Cloud also shared the Yunyao product series tailored for SMBs, including Yunyao X instances, Yunyao L instances, Yunyao cloud containers, and Yunyao databases. Among them, Yunyao X instances break the fixed ratio of specifications and can be customized for computing power specifications, providing up to 100+ specification combinations, helping users reduce computing power costs by 25% on average, truly achieving the same specifications and twice the performance, bringing users a leapfrog experience.
