Shanghai, China, April 25, 2023 – VIAVI Solutions, a network test and measurement company that works with some of the world’s largest full-service provider networks, announced that it will provide advanced performance testing for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) networks . TeraVM SASE Test Solution is a virtualization platform that tests the extreme performance of any SASE solution by simulating large-scale traffic and measuring performance through multiple vectors. VIAVI will demonstrate the TeraVM SASE testing solution at RSA Conference 2023 in San Francisco, April 24-27, 2023.
As enterprises grapple with the increasing use of hybrid offices and public cloud services, SASE Networks hopes to provide users with a consistent and secure experience. The SASE architecture combines network and security capabilities as a service to provide secure access to applications and data regardless of where the user, application or device is located. Gartner data shows that by 2024, 40% of enterprises will have a clear strategy to adopt SASE.
TeraVM SASE testing enables networking and security companies to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs) by testing their SASE solutions to the extreme to identify and resolve any performance, security or access issues. To do this, TeraVM SASE tests simulate real-world user endpoints at scale to measure traffic, connection limits, redundancy options, latency margins, cloud access, and most importantly, performance. SASE testing can be deployed in any cloud environment and test any security and access technology or protocol, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) and provides additional support for secure VPN services. The solution builds on VIAVI’s leadership in testing collaboration with global communications service providers, equipment manufacturers and enterprises.
"Our customers, including SASE solution vendors and service providers, place a high value on being able to ensure the highest levels of security and safety without impacting the day-to-day user experience," said Ian Langley, vice president and general manager of VIAVI's wireless business unit. Flexible access. TeraVM SASE testing will provide rigorous testing with simulated workers, real office applications and loaded networks, giving you confidence in your capabilities.”
