On April 2, Qi Teng Robot Co. , Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qiteng Robot") held the "New Titanium, Great Future - Explosion-proof Quadruped New Product Launch Conference" at the Beijing National Convention Center.

At the press conference, the much-anticipated explosion-proof quadruped robot was officially unveiled. Its appearance is similar to the "Iron Tiger", about half a person's height, and covered with a high-tech "armor". It can walk vertically and horizontally and turn 360° on the spot.
Hu Xiaodong, head of the innovation and R&D department of Qi Teng Robotics, introduced that this explosion-proof quadruped robot was independently developed by Qi Teng Robotics. It is currently the only product in the world that can be mass-produced and has obtained an explosion-proof certificate. It has two unique advantages of high explosion-proof level and strong load capacity, and also has obvious advantages in gait control, navigation and inspection algorithms.
In terms of explosion-proof, the explosion-proof quadruped robot combines four explosion-proof design methods to meet the national IIB T4 Gb explosion-proof level. It has extremely high safety and can be used in Class II explosion-proof scenes such as petroleum and chemical industries and various complex ground environments. It has strong adaptability. In terms of load capacity, the explosion-proof quadruped robot has a curb weight of 149kg, a continuous working time of 3 hours, a rated load capacity of 100kg, and can carry or mount a variety of equipment to achieve diversified inspection, transportation and operation services.
With the launch of the explosion-proof quadruped robot, Qiteng Robot has also ushered in a new development cycle.
At the scene, Xiang Ming, vice president of Qi Teng Robotics, elaborated on the next direction of brand strategy development, and proposed to use the new brand to promote the simultaneous upgrading of new technologies, new products, and new services. Focusing on key directions such as new product plans, new technology research and development plans, and new strategic partner plans, on the original wheeled, tracked, and rail-mounted inspection robot product matrix, a product line centered on explosion-proof quadruped robots will be established to build a fully perceptive, full-scenario, and fully intelligent robot ecosystem; increase technological innovation, iteratively optimize the design, accelerate the integration of quadruped robots and artificial intelligence, and create a large multimodal model for the industry; establish global ecological partnerships to achieve win-win cooperation and other goals.
Finally, Yang Bo, Executive Vice President of Qiteng Robotics, announced the price of the explosion-proof quadruped robot. Customers can choose to rent it on a monthly basis or buy it directly, with the monthly rental price starting at 48,000 yuan and the direct purchase price starting at 1.38 million yuan. The first batch of ordering benefits "gift packages" were also given away on site, including extra-long warranty, experience enhancement, free system upgrades, and exclusive replacement services.
