"It's so convenient. This has greatly solved the problem of difficulty in charging electric vehicles in the community. The 'shared charging' system introduced by the community has not only facilitated residents, but also saved social resources." Recently, in the underground parking lot of Fenghui Yayuan Community in Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, after the all-electric shared electric vehicle charging robot was put into operation, the community residents gave thumbs up.

At the scene, we saw that from the top of the shared charging service area, a silver-white rail about 60 meters long was connected in series through the 44 parking spaces in the area. An exquisite robot was traveling on the rail, and a power socket had been installed above each parking space. The owner only needs to log in to the WeChat applet, fill in the parking space number, and then issue a charging command to the rail robot. The robot that received the command grabbed an idle charging gun, moved to the back of the electric car, and automatically put down the charging gun. The owner can plug in the charging gun to charge the electric car.

According to Lv Bin, director of the marketing department of State Grid Suzhou Power Supply Company, with the development of new energy vehicles, the trouble of finding charging piles has become increasingly prominent. To solve the problem, Suzhou Power Supply Company took the lead in launching a shared charging mode for all-electric shared electric vehicles. The system shifts the charging facilities from the ground to the top of the head, deploys tracks on the top of the garage, and consists of three parts: power sockets, charging guns, and mobile robots. Through robot control technology, Internet of Things technology, and scheduling algorithms, the charging guns are precisely controlled to move to designated parking spaces, assisting car owners to charge quickly, realizing the transformation from "car looking for piles" to "pile looking for cars", and greatly improving the utilization efficiency of charging piles.

"The all-electric shared electric vehicle charging robot system is very suitable for the current domestic electric vehicle market environment." According to Zhang Zheng, deputy general manager of Suzhou Suneng Group, the project contractor, the commissioning of the system in the underground parking lot of Fenghui Yayuan Community in Wujiang District is the specific practice of Suzhou Power Supply Company to explore the market application of all-electric shared electric vehicle charging robots and expand the scope of all-electric sharing business. Zhang Zheng introduced that the application of the "all-electric sharing" concept eliminates the residents' registration link and realizes the automated sharing of parking spaces and parking piles, which can solve the problems of tight power capacity in residential areas, difficulty in power access, low utilization rate of parking piles and parking management in residential areas.

In addition to bringing convenience to car owners, the system's "shared" charging mode also saves social resources. Zhang Zheng introduced that with the all-electric shared charging mode, a fire protection zone in the community's underground garage only needs to be equipped with one robot to meet the charging needs of all parking spaces in the area. "According to calculations, under the same ratio of cars to piles, the all-electric shared car charging service has a wider range. When the number of electric vehicles in the area changes, we can also flexibly increase or decrease according to the vehicle situation to meet the charging needs and reduce the investment cost of charging facilities."

Compared with the traditional charging pile construction mode, this system can realize modular prefabrication of tracks, charging piles and robots, simplifying the construction process. The entire system is managed by the operator or property management, making the charging process safer and more reliable.

To better support the development of new energy vehicles, Suzhou Power Supply Company will accelerate the deployment and application of charging robot systems in old residential areas, public shopping malls and other scenarios, so that power technology can be integrated into a better life.
