In December 2022 , Hechuan Technology’s official account announced that it had officially launched the RHS1 series SCARA four-axis robot with independently developed core components .
The maximum load range of RHS1 series is from 3KG to 20KG , and the maximum inertia is 0.9kg*m² . Under the requirements of long-term high-speed and high-load operation, it can effectively reduce equipment failures and maintenance cycles.
On the basis of speed and stability, Hechuan SCARA robot core components are self-sufficient, including control systems, drive servo systems, motor systems and other self-developed products, which can ensure product compatibility, ease of use and scalability. The self-developed control system makes Hechuan SCARA robot's solutions more modular, standardized and intelligent in specific scenarios in the future. Specifically:
In terms of performance indicators, the cycle time of Hechuan RHS1 series SCARA robots can reach 0.39s . On the basis of ensuring an extremely short cycle time, the repeated positioning accuracy can reach ± 0.01mm , which can effectively meet occasions with higher precision requirements, with shorter acceleration time and higher positioning accuracy.
In terms of ease of use, Hechuan RHS1 series SCARA robots provide a variety of interfaces including EtherCAT , RS485/RS232 , EtherNet , and 32 -channel IO to meet customers ' needs in multi-protocol and multi- IO scenarios. It has a built-in soft PLC (ladder diagram) and supports data interaction between script programs and PLCs , reducing engineers' learning costs and helping them get started quickly.
In terms of motion control, the RHS1 series SCARA robots realize motion trajectory planning and operation based on dynamic control technology. They can automatically coordinate stable operation under fast beats according to external loads, optimize and reduce the jitter of the robot body during high-speed movement. The inertia feedforward technology ensures that the robot can move along the same path at any speed, maximizing the performance of the robot body . It is especially suitable for applications such as gluing and cutting that require trajectory accuracy.
In terms of appearance, the RHS1 series optimizes the base space and has higher space utilization; it has a variety of arm length options ( 400-1000mm ), which can meet the various application scenarios of 3C , packaging, photovoltaics, lithium batteries and other industries for the handling, stacking, sorting, dispensing and other application scenarios of relatively small products.
In fact, SCARA robots are naturally suitable for assembly and sorting, especially in the 3C electronics field, where they have led to large-scale mass production of small electronic products. From the ultimate goal, SCARA robots are undoubtedly developing in the direction of high-speed operation, high speed, and high precision .
Hechuan The launch of SCARA will help it "embrace" the huge application needs of more potential industries.
Taking the lithium battery industry as an example, it is reported that SCARA has advantages in achieving rapid product transformation and replacing linear slides in some processes. It can adapt to the application requirements of smaller loads, smaller spaces and fast beats, so it is widely used in the production of digital batteries. So far, SCARA has been applied to assembly, welding loading and unloading, labeling, testing, chemical composition, packaging assembly loading and unloading in the lithium battery industry. At the same time, SCARA has been successfully implemented in specific process links such as battery cell testing, battery OCV testing, battery cell loading and unloading, and liquid injection.
Benefiting from the continued expansion of the lithium battery industry, the sales of robots in the lithium battery industry are showing an "explosive" trend. According to data from the Gaogong Robot Industry Research Institute ( GGII ), in 2021 , the sales volume of SCARA robots in China's lithium battery industry was 10,490 units, a year-on-year increase of 94.44% . At the same time, GGII believes that in the next few years, the demand for industrial robots in the lithium battery industry is expected to continue its high growth trend.
For example, in the 3C industry , with the obvious trend of personalization and diversification, the speed of product replacement in the consumer electronics industry has further accelerated. However, the automation and intelligent penetration rate of the 3C industry's production process is only 20-30% . The production line has been out of touch with the speed of product updates and it is difficult to keep up with the rapid production updates. It also generates a large number of smart device application needs.
In addition, traditional
industries such as
daily chemicals
,
food, and
medical care
also have a large number of application needs such as sorting and handling.
At present, Hechuan RHS1 series SCARA robots have been successfully used in many industries such as 3C , photovoltaics, and packaging.
However, based on the current "involution" pattern of SCARA robots, GGII predicts that in 2023 , the SCARA robot field as a whole will show a relatively obvious structural differentiation. On the one hand, the leading manufacturers will continue to grow, while the involution of mid-level and below manufacturers will intensify; on the other hand, there is strong demand for large-load and high-speed SCARA products, and low-end general-purpose SCARA products are facing overcapacity. The core reason is the limited recovery of the downstream 3C industry.
So what are the chances of success for the "latecomer" Hechuan Technology? Let's see how it performs in 2023 .
