Recently, Jiashun Aurora and Silai Intelligent Manufacturing have successively announced the completion of angel round financing of tens of millions of yuan.

It is understood that Jiashun Jiguang is a domestic manufacturer, integrator and service provider of intelligent manufacturing equipment . In terms of business, Jiashun Jiguang has three business segments: intelligent equipment, industrial software and industrial services. It mainly provides design and integration services such as intelligent factories, intelligent manufacturing units, and automated production lines, as well as related services and solutions such as process expert systems and factory stewards. At present, Jiashun Jiguang has provided products or services to more than 100 companies.

Gaogong Robot learned that Jiashun Aurora has two subsidiaries, namely Beijing Bofeket Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Zhikapinfei (Changzhou) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.

In order to strengthen the R&D and manufacturing capabilities of intelligent manufacturing equipment products, the Jiashun Aurora Changzhou R&D and Production Base, built by its subsidiary Zhikapinfei (Changzhou) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., was officially completed on December 31, 2021 and has now been put into use.

Jiashun Aurora officials stated that after the new R&D and production base is established, the group will continue to delve into new sub-sectors such as the intelligent production of CNC machine tools.

Silai Intelligent Manufacturing is a national high-tech enterprise and gazelle enterprise incubated by the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics . Relying on the solid scientific research capabilities and technical foundations of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in mechanical structure precision drive and transmission, electrical, information, artificial intelligence, etc., Silai Intelligent Manufacturing currently has core technologies such as linear drive, machine vision, and digital twins that are independently developed and applicable to high-speed, high-precision, flexible assembly and inspection .

Since its establishment, Silai Intelligent Manufacturing has focused on the development and manufacturing of non-standard intelligent equipment systems for assembly and testing in discrete manufacturing industries, and provides flexible intelligent equipment and digital information management systems (MES, SCADA, industrial APP, etc.) to the automotive parts, lithium battery, aerospace and other industries .

In June this year, Silai Intelligent Manufacturing announced that the lithium battery cell fully automatic welding and inspection line project it undertook was successfully accepted; then in July, Silai Intelligent Manufacturing once again brought good news, successfully winning the bid for an electric door actuator assembly and inspection line project for a certain automotive parts company.

Silai Intelligent Manufacturing officially stated that after completing an angel round of financing of tens of millions, the company will focus on R&D investment in innovative technologies for energy storage battery (including lithium batteries, sodium batteries, and flow batteries) equipment , and adhere to the dual-wheel drive strategy of "core products + integrated business" to continuously empower discrete manufacturing customers to "transform smartly into digital technology" and improve productivity.

In fact, in addition to the two integrators, Jiashun Jiguang and Silai Intelligent Manufacturing, several integrators have announced the successful acquisition of a new round of financing this year, such as Zhongke Motong, which focuses on the new energy field, Mingluo Equipment, which is engaged in high-end intelligent equipment for automobiles, and Zhicaneng, which focuses on high-end equipment and lithium battery back-end equipment integration services .

In general, the overall trend of China's industrial robot sector is "low at the beginning and high at the end". With the release of demand in multiple sub-sectors such as new energy, automobiles (including parts), and semiconductors, the sales of industrial robots have gradually recovered, and capital has begun to bet intensively.

According to incomplete statistics from GGII, in the third quarter of this year alone, there were 17 financing events in the field of industrial robots in China, involving more than 2.2 billion yuan. Among them, the largest number of financing cases was in the field of machine vision, followed by the field of system integration.

The two integrators, Jiashun Aurora and Silai Intelligent Manufacturing, which have just announced successful financing, are also working hard in this uncertain 2022 to accelerate the upgrade and adjustment of their business strategies.

All signs indicate that China's industrial robot industry is still full of vitality and resilience in the cold winter. Let's wait and see what the annual performance of China's industrial robots will be in 2022.
