Recently, Dr. Zhiyang Chen, CTO of Sindi Digital, and his delegation visited the Robotics Institute of Zhejiang University in Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province for study and exchange. The delegation was warmly received by Professor Guodong Lu, Executive Vice President of the Robotics Institute of Zhejiang University, and Professor Jin Wang, Assistant to the President. The two sides had a full exchange of views on promoting the deep integration of industry, academia, research and application, and increasing the development of school-enterprise cooperation.
The Robotics Institute of Zhejiang University is jointly established by Zhejiang University and Yuyao Municipal People's Government. It takes innovation-driven development as its core and high-end equipment design, manufacturing and technical services as its entry point. It takes the research and development and industrialization of new generation industrial robots, intelligent manufacturing and equipment, special robots, and robot core components as its main direction. It explores collaborative innovation between industry, academia, research and application, innovation of high-tech industrial clusters and innovation of scientific and technological achievements industrialization models, and builds a platform for scientific and technological research and development, scientific and technological transformation, industrial incubation and talent training and aggregation.
This coincides with Sindi Digital's view that it has always attached great importance to the integration of industry, academia, research and application, and constantly expanded the boundaries of industry, academia, research and application. Previously, Sindi Digital jointly established the "Industrial Innovation Practice" with the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University and the Institute of Advanced Equipment of Zhejiang University, and helped Professor Xu Gang's team at Hangzhou University of Science and Technology to conquer the application fortress of "isogeometric analysis".
At the exchange meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of integrating the fields of 3D CAD and robotics, and expressed the hope that through in-depth industry-university-research cooperation, they could give full play to the practical advantages of enterprises and the talent advantages of research institutes, realize the cross-integration of technology research and development, talent training, achievement transformation, industry cultivation and other services, and ultimately contribute to promoting the development of Zhejiang Province's "digital economy" and realizing China's dream of becoming a manufacturing power.
