As the main laser radar for autonomous driving, the Lorenz E series has a resolution of more than 300 lines. In complex urban traffic scenes, it can accurately identify traffic participants and obstacles such as various vehicles, pedestrians, roadblocks, water barriers, height limit poles, cones, low obstacles, etc.; the detection distance can reach more than 300m, ensuring that the vehicle has sufficient reaction time in high-speed scenes; the size has been further compressed, and the height of the whole machine has been reduced to less than 40mm, which is convenient for installation on the roof; the large-volume price can reach thousands of yuan.
1. Over 300 lines of resolution
At a frame rate of 10Hz, the Lorentz E series can reach more than 300 lines, the vertical resolution can reach less than 0.1°, and the ROI area can be dynamically configured and achieve ultra-high resolution. Compared with the 125~128-line resolution of products on the market, it is a huge leap. In complex urban traffic scenes, it can accurately identify traffic participants and obstacles such as various vehicles, pedestrians, roadblocks, water barriers, height limit poles, cones, low obstacles, etc.
2. Longer detection distance
The detection distance of the Lorentz E series for targets with a reflectivity of 10% can reach more than 300 meters, which is a significant improvement compared to the actual detection distance of more than 100 meters of products on the market. In high-speed scenarios, it ensures that the vehicle has sufficient reaction time. Even if the detection distance is attenuated in rain, snow, fog and other weather conditions, it can still meet the needs of target detection.
3. Smaller height and smaller volume
The size of the Lorenz E series has been further compressed, with the height of the whole machine reduced to less than 40mm and the weight less than 700g. Compared with the 45mm~48mm height of the products on the market, it is greatly optimized, easy to install on the roof, and can also be integrated behind the windshield, reducing the head space occupied by the occupants in the cockpit, and the volume is also the smallest in the industry.
4. Meet automotive reliability standards
The Lorentz E series has established a complete automotive-grade test process and specifications through cooperation with many OEMs. The new MEMS galvanometer solution has better performance in the high and low temperature humidity, vibration, waterproof, salt spray, human eye safety, gravel impact, EMC and other tests required by automotive regulations, ensuring that the LiDAR has higher reliability in harsh vehicle environments.
5. Price in the thousands
The Lorentz E series is a MEMS galvanometer-type semi-solid-state laser radar. Through Lorentz's more integrated system design, it has the advantages of small size, low cost, low power consumption, and low noise. Combined with self-developed key components and dedicated ASIC chips, the cost of large quantities can be reduced to the thousand-yuan level.
