Lattice has released version 3.0 of its sensAI edge inference solution stack, which provides some updated features and support for the company's 28nm FD-SOI CrossLink NX series of low-power FPGAs. According to Lattice, CrossLink NX devices running sensAI software have doubled the performance and reduced power consumption by half compared to previous versions.
Key enhancements in sensAI version 3.0 include:
The new CNN accelerator IP takes advantage of parallelism, 2.5 Mb of distributed memory and block RAM, and additional DSP resources in the CrossLink NX FPGA fabric.
Updates to the NN Compiler tool simplify compiling and downloading trained models to CrossLink NX FPGAs.
Added support for MobileNet v2, SSD, and ResNet models on Lattice ECP5 FPGAs.
VGG-based object counting demo with only 200 mW power consumption at 10fps on CrossLink NX FPGAs.
Lattice plans to continue releasing new out-of-the-box application demonstrations and reference designs through the sensAI platform.
