Building an integrated ecosystem of AUTOSAR software and hardware to promote innovation in intelligent connected vehicles
November 18, 2024, Beijing, China – iSoftStone and Renesas Electronics (TSE: 6723), a global semiconductor solutions provider, completed a cooperation signing ceremony in Shanghai last month . According to the agreement, the two parties will deepen their cooperation in the field of automotive underlying software and hardware, and build a safer and more reliable automotive AUTOSAR software underlying solution based on Renesas automotive MCU and iSoftStone automotive operating system, to help accelerate the implementation of personalized and differentiated innovative functions of China's intelligent connected vehicles. iSoftStone Vice General Manager Chen Yunran and Takeshi Fuse, VP & Head of Business Development for the High Performance Computing Product Group at Renesas, signed the cooperation agreement as representatives of both companies. At the same time, Zhang Xiaoxian, Dean of iSoftStone Strategic Research Institute and Director of Open Source Office, and Zhang Jiahao, Senior Director of Renesas China Automotive Business, also attended the signing ceremony to witness this important moment together.
With the continuous improvement of the level of automobile intelligence, automotive operating systems and chips have become the core cornerstones driving the digital transformation of the automotive industry. This cooperation will integrate the advantages of iSoftStone's automotive operating system and Renesas's automotive-grade products such as RH850 MCU and R-Car SoC. It will not only deepen the integration of the two parties in multiple fields such as solution creation, market expansion, and ecological co-construction, but also add strong new impetus to the steady progress of the industry. In the future, the two parties will work together to promote the safe and efficient development of China's intelligent connected vehicles.
