Dalianda Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its subsidiary Shiping has launched an automotive intelligent gateway solution based on SemiDrive G9X chip and SIM Com SIM8800 module.

The automotive gateway is the core part of the automotive architecture. As the data interaction hub of the entire vehicle network , it is responsible for protocol conversion between different bus types. Currently, with the continuous development of smart cockpits, autonomous driving and other functions, automotive gateways have increasingly higher requirements for data transmission speed, functional safety and reliability. Against this background, Dalian Shiping launched an automotive intelligent gateway solution based on Xinchi Technology's G9X chip and XinCom SIM8800 module, which can meet the high-speed communication needs of the new generation of cars.


The G9X used at the core of this solution is Xinchi Technology's first car-grade product for central gateways. It adopts a dual-core heterogeneous design, including a high-performance Cortex-A55  CPU core and a dual-core lock-step, highly reliable Cortex-R5 core. Meet the requirements of high functional safety level and high reliability. G9X supports a variety of peripheral interfaces , including PCIe and USB 3.0 interfaces, as well as rich transmission interfaces such as Ethernet , CAN -FD and LIN.


Not only that, this product uses Xinchi's second-generation packet processing engine SD PEv2, which can realize high-traffic and low-latency data exchange between different interfaces with low CPU usage. In addition, G9X also has a built-in HSM, which includes a true random number generator and a high-performance encryption and decryption engine. It supports AES, RSA , ECC, SHA and multiple encryption algorithms to meet the needs of secure startup.


SIM8800 is an automotive-grade multi-band 5G  NR and C-V2X module that supports R5 5G NSA/SA data transmission up to 2. 4G bps. It has strong expansion capabilities and rich interfaces, and complies with IATF 16949 requirements.

This solution supports 5G+V2X functions, and the module has a built-in integrated multi-frequency and multi-mode GNSS receiver to meet the automotive requirements for high-precision and precise positioning. In addition, the solution is equipped with rich CAN, LIN, vehicle Ethernet, USB and other interfaces, which helps customers verify more application functions.
