As the wave of "new four modernizations of automobiles" sweeps across, the chassis, one of the three core components of traditional automobiles, stands at the intersection of electrification and intelligence, creating a new billion-dollar track - control-by-wire Chassis. As the name suggests, the control-by-wire chassis replaces the traditional mechanical structure with control-by-wire technology, converting the driver's operating actions into electrical signals through sensors to control vehicle braking, steering, etc.
In the context of high technical thresholds and technical barriers, and the early deployment of international Tier 1 technology and production capacity, International Tier 1 has long controlled the control-by-wire chassis market, with a market share of over 90%, and has already formed a monopoly. However, as the popularity of skateboard chassis brought out of the circle by "Tesla killer" Rivian once spilled over to the field of wire-controlled chassis, and under the combined effects of industry development, macro policies, market demand and investment boom, domestic technology providers and vehicle companies They are all vying to develop the field of wire-controlled chassis.
The control-by-wire chassis consists of five major systems: shift-by-wire, brake-by-wire, steering-by-wire, throttle-by-wire, and suspension-by-wire. As a core component of drive-by-wire chassis, local companies are also actively deploying in the field of drive-by-wire, with a view to building domestic independent brands, breaking international monopoly barriers, and opening up a new development situation for domestic substitution.
Grubo debuts new products at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show
"China has the largest automobile market, but it lacks core technologies and has a lot of room for technological upgrades."
“Only when technology is self-reliant will it not be controlled by others.”
"We have missed the industrial revolution and cannot miss the era of smart cars anymore."
With the research and judgment of the industry by the founder and chairman Dr. Liu Zhaoyong, Global Technology Co., Ltd. (Global Technology) came into being.

Standing at the forefront of intelligent and electrified transformation, Grubo has been actively deploying L3-L5 active braking control systems. The Society of Automated Engineers (SAE International) defines L3+ as conditional or fully autonomous driving, which means that the driver can hand over control to the vehicle, which is a huge test for OEMs and component manufacturers. and challenges.
For L3+ autonomous driving, the "execution end" of the wire-controlled chassis is the cornerstone that determines whether this technology can finally be implemented. It is also the "stuck neck" problem faced by manufacturers, and the wire-controlled chassis in the wire-controlled chassis Technology is becoming the focus of local enterprises. In order to solve this problem, Grubo used EPB and ESC as a breakthrough and successfully developed One-box. After generations of mass production, replacement, and research and development, it has successfully established itself in the local market.

Relying on years of R&D and industrialization accumulation in the field of wire-controlled chassis, Grubo has successfully developed many new products and officially unveiled them at the 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show. Glubo's new products unveiled at the 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show are: integrated brake-by-wire system One-box product GIBC and redundant brake control system GRBC, electronic stability control unit ESC product GESC Pro, anti-lock brake Control unit ABS product ABSi, chassis domain control system iCDS, decoupled brake control system GDBC and electromechanical braking system EMB.

Relying on the rich R&D and mass production experience of EPB, ESC and GIBS, Grobo has developed a fully hydraulic decoupled GIBC (One-box), which supports a variety of technology iterations and product forms, and can not only achieve high dynamic response brake-by-wire Function, it can also achieve nearly 100% regenerative braking energy recovery for new energy vehicles, and can also support advanced intelligent driving requirements such as ACC, AEB, APA, etc., covering the autonomous driving L0-L5 level brake-by-wire product line, and has high integration , lightweight, easy to assemble, fast response, and high safety.
From the perspective of industry development, the One-box solution has an energy recovery function, has advantages in performance stability and cost, and is more in line with the current rapid explosion of new energy vehicles. In addition, the One-box solution plus a redundancy module can also meet the redundancy requirements of high-level autonomous driving. It is reported that the One-box (electronic brake booster integrated with ESC) developed by Grubo is expected to achieve mass production simultaneously with international manufacturers in the first half of this year.
What’s more worth mentioning is that the key components of Grubo One-box (ECU, EHCU assembly and solenoid valves) are all self-developed and produced. The testing and verification system is sound, the functional indicators are benchmarked against the international mainstream level, and the liquid inlet valve is wire-controlled. And the step size control ability is the same as that of the mainstream. Dr. Liu Zhaoyong has previously revealed that in terms of solenoid valves, Glubo cooperated with suppliers in the early days, but when it came to One-box products, Glubo realized self-development and self-production. Currently, it has invested in two solenoid valve lines. It will be launched in 2023. The production capacity can reach 8 million pieces.

In addition to One-box products, Grubo also brought a new ESC product - GESC Pro at the Shanghai Auto Show. ESC is equivalent to the "active safety brain" of the car. It is one of the products with the highest barriers and standard equipment in brake-by-wire. However, the process of domestic replacement is relatively slow. However, Grubo has many years of experience in independent development and matching of ESC products, and it continues to upgrade and iterate ESC products.
GESC Pro supports the integration of basic functions such as EPBi, as well as value-added functions such as HBA brake assist, HHC uphill assist and i-TPMS indirect tire pressure monitoring. Compared with GESC base, GESC Pro has added the functions and features of "supporting assisted and autonomous driving functions, adding two-way noise reduction valves to optimize noise performance", and the durability verification has more than doubled to 700 hours. The overall functions and features are basically satisfactory. Comparable to GESC HP. As the demand for orders continues to expand, Glubo has newly installed a fully automatic ESC production line with a high product yield and an annual production capacity of 500,000 sets after it is put into production.
From 0 to 1, how can Grubo become an excellent company in wireline braking?
Starting a business is difficult. It is not easy for a company to go from 0 to 1, and then from 1 to N. Everything is difficult at the beginning, and many start-ups fail in the process of going from 0 to 1. How did Grubo go from 0 to 1, from a start-up company established in 2016 to an outstanding company in the field of brake-by-wire systems today?
Looking back on its development trajectory, Grubo has achieved today's achievements by relying on innovation and iteration, good at planning, active verification, and the courage to take risks. Glubo has been actively deploying its team, R&D, patents and production, constantly laying a solid foundation for its development, and ultimately building a highly competitive moat.
