On March 9, SAIC Group announced that in order to further improve the company's scalability and flexibility in the layout of the automotive industry, the company's subsidiaries SAIC Financial Holdings, Huayu Shanghai, Donghua Automobile, and Zoomlion Electronics plan to enter into strategic alliances with Zhanxin Fund and Hyundai Industrial Fund, Chongqing Yufu and others jointly invested in the establishment of "Henan Shangqi Huirong Shangcheng No. 1 Industrial Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership)".
The fund focuses on automotive electronics, semiconductors, new energy and industrial chain extension related fields, focusing on exploring subdivided track projects such as autonomous driving, smart cockpits, low-carbon travel and semiconductors and information security related to the industrial chain.
The fund's target total subscribed investment is 4 billion yuan, and the first closed scale is 3.3734 billion yuan, of which SAIC Financial Holdings subscribed for 980 million yuan, holding 29.05% of the share; Huayu Shanghai subscribed for 170 million yuan, holding 504% % share; Donghua Automobile subscribed for a capital of 170 million yuan, holding a 5.04% share; China United Electronics subscribed for a capital of 150 million yuan, holding a 4.45% share.
SAIC pointed out that the company's subsidiaries SAIC Financial Holdings, Huayu Shanghai, Donghua Automobile, and Zoomlion Electronics participated in the establishment of this fund, mainly by leveraging the advantages of professional investment institutions and a professional investment management team to expand investment channels and explore opportunities for the company's future development. High-quality investment targets help the company further improve the layout of the automobile industry chain, and form a positive interaction between investment and industrial development through strategic cooperation and investment coordination among the industry chain, ecosystem and all parties.
