On June 20, Zhixin Technology Co., Ltd. held a "New Starting Point, New Journey, New Challenge" iD2 project electric drive assembly off-line ceremony. The iD2 electric drive assembly has 69 patents and has completed 100,000 hours of ultra-long endurance tests. In addition, the project has created many firsts within Dongfeng - the first electric drive product to use deep integrated design technology.
According to reports, the iD2 electric drive assembly is the first product to use 8-layer winding flat wire technology; the first product to be equipped with the independent S3+ power module (IGBT); the first independently developed ultra-quiet reduction gearbox product with a speed exceeding 16,000 rpm; and the first product to be deeply collaboratively developed between the entire vehicle and its components.
Xia Xiaochuan, general manager and party secretary of Zhixin Technology, said that as the company's first new independently developed electric drive platform product, the launch of the iD2 project electric drive assembly is a valuable achievement of the hard work and efficient collaboration of Zhixin Technology and the Lantu Automobile project team. It is of milestone significance to the development of Zhixin Technology's pure electric assembly business and even Dongfeng Motor's new energy business.
Lu Fang, CEO of Lantu Auto, said that during the promotion of the iD2 electric drive assembly project, Zhixin Technology and Lantu Auto worked closely together to overcome difficulties. The performance of the iD2 electric drive assembly product has reached the advanced level in the industry, with many advantages such as high integration, high speed, and high efficiency.
The launch of the iD2 project's electric drive assembly marks a solid step forward for Zhixin Technology in the core technology and resource control, manufacturing system and capacity building of new energy powertrains, and will strongly promote Dongfeng Motor Corporation's "Eastern Wind Rising" plan and scientific and technological innovation "Leap Action".
