NUCLEO-L4R5 CubeMX generated USB CDC cannot be recognized solution [Copy link]

This is the worst one. I think I have been cheated more than once.

NUCLEO-L4R5 or other NUCLEO-L4R5 boards should not have high-speed crystal oscillator X2 soldered

However, in projects created using STM32CubeMX, HSE is used as the clock source by default.

This USB cannot recognize the hardware after countless attempts. I have tried all possible solutions, but I didn't expect this to be the reason.

When using HSE, SystemCoreClock shows a main frequency of 4MHz

The problem is solved after changing PLL Source Mux to another clock source.
