The collaboration aims to support customers in their focus on the megatrends of connected mobility, autonomous driving , shared/service mobility and electromobility. In particular, these trends are still changing fundamentally and developing rapidly. As a first step, the parties want to discuss solutions for fleet management, load management, battery lifecycle management and mobility as a service. Co-innovation customers who can participate in the program are OEMs, utilities and startups. MHP therefore plans to support the SAP.iO Mobility Cohort to discover interesting startups in this technology and business field.

Customers participating in the joint innovation have the opportunity to develop new solutions that will be integrated into the SAP environment and its ecosystem. In addition, customers will discuss options including the provision of future-oriented mobility solutions, rapid integration, and global expansion of the new Mobility OS.

Andreas Barth, Head of Marketing and Member of the Management Board at MHP, said: “The issue that is close to my heart is mobility. I am therefore very pleased that MHP is promoting the Industry Cloud together with SAP. In particular, we will be working together across industries and focusing on the customer.”

“More than 80% of automakers have committed to electrifying their products in the future, and some plan to go all-electric within the next decade,” said Hagen Heubach, global vice president and head of SAP’s automotive industry business unit. “MHP is working closely with SAP to develop plans to help deliver on the smart business promise of mobility customers. MHP plans to combine industry innovation with deep industry knowledge and industry business services to address the rapidly growing market for mobility solutions.”
