LiDAR company AEye has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to bring its adaptive, intelligent sensors to the NVIDIA DRIVE® autonomous vehicle platform.
It is understood that AEye's adaptive LiDAR uses a unique intelligent sensing method, namely iDAR (Intelligent Detection and Ranging). The iDAR platform will be adaptive and can focus on what matters most while monitoring the vehicle's surroundings, thereby achieving farther ranging and reducing costs while ensuring higher reliability, safety and performance.
