The recent completion of the new park of Jie Hydrogen Technology has further accelerated the industrialization process of hydrogen fuel cells.
1. Hot Event: The new park of Jie Hydrogen Technology was completed, accelerating the industrialization process
On May 31, the new park of JEHydrogen Technology was completed. The park is located in the Hydrogen Energy Port in Jiading District, Shanghai. It integrates the research and development and manufacturing of automotive-grade hydrogen fuel cells and represents the most advanced level of China's hydrogen fuel cell industry. In the future, this will become a new starting point for JEHydrogen Technology to further promote the implementation of the fuel cell vehicle industry and accelerate the industrialization process of fuel cell products.
As one of the core components of fuel cells, membrane electrode has long been monopolized by foreign countries. Therefore, the development and manufacturing capabilities of this core technology are the key to the development of the domestic fuel cell industry. The Shanghai New Park of JEH Technology has added an automated membrane electrode production line for the first time, which means that JEH Technology not only has the independent research and development capabilities of membrane electrodes, but also has the manufacturing and production capabilities of membrane electrodes, and the cost of fuel cells will be further reduced.
In 2020, the domestic market shipment of membrane electrodes was 36,800 m2, a year-on-year increase of 62.11%. The growth momentum mainly came from the increase in downstream fuel cell production.
Founded in June 2018 with a registered capital of 580 million yuan, Jie Hydrogen Technology is a hydrogen fuel cell R&D and production company.
2. Development status of hydrogen fuel cell industry
In recent years, the installed capacity of hydrogen fuel cells in my country's automotive field has gradually increased, and declined in 2020 due to the impact of the epidemic. Overall, the market concentration is high, with the top five companies accounting for a cumulative share of 69%.

Looking at the performance of the hydrogen fuel cell market in 2020: my country's installed capacity of hydrogen fuel cells was 79.2MW, a year-on-year decrease of 37%; the average installed power of hydrogen fuel buses was 71.7kW, a year-on-year increase of 46%; the average installed power of hydrogen fuel special-purpose vehicles was 7.5kW, a year-on-year decrease of 90%.

3. Hydrogen fuel layout is accelerating, and the hydrogen fuel cell industry chain is basically formed
According to data released at the "14th Five-Year Plan" Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Forum held by the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, by the end of 2020, there were approximately 544 hydrogen refueling stations in the world, 128 of which were built in my country, and the cumulative number of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles reached more than 7,000. Various companies are also accelerating their layout, and my country's hydrogen fuel cell industry chain has basically taken shape, and my country will enter the fast lane of hydrogen fuel development.
