On the eve of the 2019 PT Exhibition, Huawei officially launched the Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) solution and iMaster intelligent operation and maintenance series products for the Chinese market , helping the telecommunications industry move towards autonomous networks with artificial intelligence as the core. Through open architecture, it "gives intelligence to the network and a platform to customers", accelerating the digital transformation of operators.
It is understood that Huawei has released a total of four specific products, including the autonomous driving network management and control units iMaster MAE and iMaster NCE for MBB and FBB, the cross-domain intelligent operation and maintenance unit iMaster AUTIN, and the iMaster NAIE network artificial intelligence unit based on Huawei's public cloud service.
Lu Hongju, Director of Huawei's ICT Infrastructure Operation and Platform Management and President of the Public Development Department, pointed out that the newly launched iMaster MAE and iMaster NCE will completely replace the traditional network management system, helping operators to transform from manual operation and maintenance centered on network elements to single-domain autonomy centered on intent, enabling the automation and intelligence of the entire life cycle of network operations. At the same time, iMaster AUTIN solidifies the operation and maintenance experience of 160+ network operation and maintenance services and 1500+ network assurance services worldwide into knowledge assets, helping operators accelerate the transformation of operation and maintenance capabilities and talents through an open platform, providing cross-domain business prediction, preventive maintenance, and intelligent assistance for major network changes, greatly reducing ineffective site visits. Finally, relying on the industry's first open AI enabling system for networks, iMaster NAIE, it continuously injects stronger AI algorithms into the autonomous driving network from the cloud, which can greatly improve the efficiency of AI development. At the same time, it realizes vertical collaboration of network element AI, network AI, and cloud AI based on a consistent reasoning framework, making the network better and smarter with use.
