Keyless keyless entry system can be stolen in just 10 seconds! Do you still like Keyless?
Now almost every new car is equipped with a keyless entry system. What is a keyless start system? It is a very convenient feature that allows you to start the vehicle by simply putting the key in your pants pocket or bag and pressing the engine start/stop button. Currently, most new cars are equipped with this system, and many car manufacturers also say that keyless entry is safer.
But is this really the case?
Foreign automotive media (What Car?) recently conducted a test on the security of the Keyless entry system. Unexpectedly, the Keyless entry system can be stolen in just 10 seconds!
In this test, foreign media (What Car?) tested 6 new cars equipped with Keyless entry system. These 6 new cars are: Audi TTS, DS 3 Crossback, Land Rover Discovery Sport, BMW X3 xDrive20i M Sport, Mercedes-Benz A220 AMG Line and Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 140 ST-Line X.
After testing, the keyless entry system of the French brand DS 3 Crossback can be cracked and driven away in just 10 seconds, which is very fast! The Audi sports car TTS can also be cracked in just 10 seconds.
As for the Land Rover Discovery Sport, it was not successfully protected either. It only took 30 seconds from the time of cracking to the time of driving away. It can be seen that the keyless entry systems of these cars really need to be strengthened!
In addition, the keyless entry systems of the BMW X3 xDrive20i M Sport, Mercedes-Benz A220 AMG Line and Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 140 ST-Line X performed well and were not successfully cracked or stolen.
In conclusion, a car with a keyless entry system is not necessarily safer. A car thief may steal your car in just a few seconds. What do you think after reading this test?
