Shenzhen Construction Group's Smart Energy Storage Battery EPC Project Starts Construction

On the morning of August 3, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Construction Group’s smart energy storage battery EPC project was successfully held at the project site in Huai’an City.

Huang Chunping, the commander-in-chief of the Long March II rocket and the commander-in-chief of the Shenzhou V rocket system, China's first manned spacecraft, Chen Shoulong, the former director of the Health Bureau of the General Administration of the Central Military Commission, a part-time professor at the Graduate School of China University of Political Science and Law, and vice president of the Chinese Bethune Spirit Research Association, and Wang Lingding, the former director of the First Department of the State Administration of Work Safety and the current vice president of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, were specially invited to attend. More than 100 people attended, including Lin Yuchun, chairman of Hongjun High Energy, Guo Wen, general manager, Dong Azhu, vice president, Zang Chong, vice president of Special Zone Construction Group, Gong Ying, secretary of the Party General Branch, chairman and president of Construction Group, Zheng Yisheng, chairman of Shanxi Zhongtai Special Robot, and other relevant leaders and personnel.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, the first Jinhu County Energy Storage Industry Development Forum was grandly held. Wang Xianghong, Deputy Mayor of Huai'an Municipal People's Government, Xu Jiaye, Mayor of Jinhu County People's Government, and other government leaders attended and delivered speeches. They spoke highly of the strategic significance and foresight of the project and expressed their full support for the project construction and their contribution to building a green, intelligent and efficient energy ecosystem.

Subsequently, Hongjun High Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement with representatives of Shenzhen Construction Group, China Institute of Electronics, and Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Construction Energy Group, marking that they will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of smart energy storage batteries, jointly create new energy projects with international competitiveness, further consolidate the cooperative relationship between Hongjun High Energy and Special Economic Zone Construction Group in the energy industry chain, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term development of the industry.

The Smart Energy Storage Battery EPC project is located in the southwest of Jinhu County, Huai'an City, south of Lingao Road, east of Pailou Road, west of Guandong, and close to Jinma Expressway on the south side. The site is a regular polygon, about 674 meters long from north to south and about 412 meters long from east to west. The project construction land is 299,892.77 square meters, about 449.84 acres, and the total construction area is 271,249.21 square meters. The project will be used for future new energy battery technology research and development and production.

The successful conclusion of the groundbreaking ceremony and the successful holding of the development forum marked the official launch of the smart energy storage battery EPC project, which is an important step in the transformation and upgrading of my country's new energy industry and its move towards high-quality development. The Construction Group will work with Hongjun High Energy and China Electronics Academy to lead with scientific and technological innovation and aim at green development, jointly draw a picture of green energy, realize mutual empowerment in the industry, and promote a new chapter of high-quality development.
