Corun's containerized energy storage system is officially shipped with a capacity of 6.6MWh, the largest single unit in China

The containerized energy storage system officially started shipping at the Yiyang factory on January 2.

It is understood that the scale of this order is 60 MWh, and the storage capacity of a single container is as high as 6.6 MWh. This is also one of the largest container-type energy storage systems in China.

According to the person in charge of the company's energy storage business, the system uses a 40-foot standard container, adopts 300ah lithium iron phosphate batteries, and has a protection level of IP67. It will be used in a wind power distribution and storage project of a customer of one of the "five major power generation groups".

Due to the use of advanced liquid cooling solutions, the energy storage system has a higher degree of integration, a higher single-cell energy density, and a smaller footprint. At the same time, it has excellent temperature control capabilities, a small temperature difference, and low energy loss. The above features help to significantly save land for energy storage projects, effectively improve the cycle life and safety of energy storage batteries, and improve the energy-saving effect of the system.
