Delta launches new solar inverter series for residential and commercial PV systems

The new solar inverter series has a conversion efficiency of up to 98.7% and a European efficiency of 98.5%, and is available in a power range of 15 kW to 20 kW.

Taiwanese solar inverter manufacturer Delta will unveil its new M100A Flex three-phase inverter at the Solar Solutions International 2022 conference, which will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from April 12 to 14.

The conversion efficiency of the largest product in this series of inverters is 98.7%, the European efficiency is 98.5%, and the conversion efficiency of the smallest product is 98.3%, the European efficiency is 97.9%. The input voltage range of the entire series of products is 200 V DC to 1000v DC.

The new product can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the new product also has IP66 protection and cooling technology based on natural convection.

“The new M100A Flex inverter is highly efficient and comes with advanced features such as arc fault detection, anti-PID functionality and built-in replaceable Type 2 lightning protection on both the AC and DC sides,” said Michiel Klees, Regional Sales Manager for Benelux, UK and Ireland at PVI BU. “It also offers great system engineering flexibility thanks to its eight MPP trackers, which can support up to 16 strings and a wide input range.”

The solar inverter can be floor- or wall-mounted and comes with the new DeltaSolar 2.0 monitoring app for iOS and Android smartphones.
