ERP is an advanced management concept, a huge management system, and a highly integrated software system. It has become synonymous with the construction of enterprise management informationization. However, the implementation of the ERP system involves knowledge in many fields such as the external environment, internal management, software engineering, IT project management, and human resources of the enterprise. It needs to coordinate many factors such as people, finance, materials, interests, time schedule, and business processes. It touches on the different interests of multiple parties including enterprises, ERP software companies, ERP implementation consulting companies, and ERP implementation supervision companies. It is a complex system engineering. Due to the serious information asymmetry in the implementation process of the ERP system, the current enterprise ERP system implementation process is often dominated by ERP software manufacturers and consulting companies. Enterprises passively cater to it. In addition, the existence of commercial interest factors and the lack of initiative of enterprises have led to a high failure rate of ERP system implementation. Therefore, from the perspective of enterprises, it is very important to establish an ERP implementation process model that is dominated by enterprises and supplemented by software companies and consulting companies. Based on the comparison and analysis of the implementation process models of existing ERP software manufacturers, this paper proposes to establish an ERP implementation process model for enterprises to provide a reference for the implementation of enterprise ERP projects.
