2. Distortion The distortion characteristics of a speaker system are more complicated than those of a single speaker. It is synthesized from the distortion of the various parts that make up the speaker system, including: the distortion of each speaker that makes up the system; the distortion caused by standing waves and wall panel vibrations in the cabinet; the distortion caused by the crossover network, etc.
3. Rated frequency range and effective frequency range The rated frequency range of the speaker system is specified in the product standard, and the frequency range actually reached by the speaker system is called the effective frequency range. Ideally, the speaker system should reach the human ear audible frequency range of 16 to 20,000 Hz. In practice, the frequency range is generally designed to be 40 to 20,000 Hz at home and abroad.
4. Characteristic sensitivity level and maximum output sound pressure level The characteristic sensitivity level of the speaker system is the same as that of the speaker. It is the sound pressure decibel measured at a distance of 1 meter from the speaker under 1W input conditions in accordance with the national standards GB9396-88 (test standard) and GB9399-88 (technical standard). The maximum output sound pressure level of the speaker system can be calculated from the characteristic sensitivity level.
5. Rated maximum noise power, rated long-term maximum noise power The rated maximum noise power of a loudspeaker system refers to the maximum noise voltage that can be fed to the loudspeaker system with a specified analog program signal within the rated frequency range without causing thermal and mechanical damage.
6. When inspecting the pure tone speaker system, there should be no mechanical sound, ringing sound, garbage sound, double tone, etc.
