[ESP32-C3-DevKitM-1] BLE for ESP32-C3 [Copy link]

6. BLE evaluation

ESP32-C3 supports BLE 5.0

Next, I will use the BLE 5.0 routines and mobile phone APP to simply test BLE.

Here I use the ble_spp_server routine to test, and the APP uses nRF Connent to test.

The burning program is good, but the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is not connected. The serial port prints as follows

Use the mobile phone APP to connect to the Bluetooth named ESP_SPP_SERVER . Of course, this name can be changed, as shown below

Use the APP to send characters to BLE, as shown below

The serial port assistant will print out the input string, as shown below

Simple test of BLE completed

Very good, thanks for sharing. I think esp32-c3 is the cheapest chip that supports ble5.0.   Details Published on 2022-7-11 08:01

I have tried the Bluetooth and WIFI examples and they are quite convenient. It seems that you need to modify a .config file for configuration, which takes some time for novices to understand. I don’t know if Eclipse is the same. I think it would be better if the original poster could explain the specific usage of the examples in his post.
