Multi-channel sampling circuit

Figure 5.4-75 is an example of a multi-channel sampling circuit. It consists of a 16-channel analog switch AD7506 chip, a sampling and holding circuit LF398 and an AD converter ADC-0808, and then connected to the 1/O interface chip INTEL8255 parallel interface . PA0~PA7 are connected to the data line of ADC0808 for data input. PB0~PB4 are channel selection signals that control the selection of input channels. PB5 is the sampling and holding signal, and PB6 is the start signal for the A/D converter to start conversion. PC0 is the input port of the A/D converter's conversion end signal, which is read by the CPU for judgment. The operation of the multi-channel sampling circuit is completely controlled by the corresponding program. The circuit can have the following working modes:

1. Sequential sampling: Scan and sample point by point in the order of channel numbers.

2. Fixed-point sampling: fixed sampling of a certain channel.

3. Set interval sampling: If the actual input signal to be measured is less than the number of channels of the sampling system, the sampling interval can be reduced .
