Beijing, China - June 2, 2021 - EDOM Technology, Asia's ideal solution partner, recently announced the establishment and opening of an acoustic laboratory in its Shenzhen office. This acoustic laboratory can provide a standard audio testing environment and will bring more comprehensive services and support to EDOM and its original equipment manufacturers and customers.
This acoustic laboratory uses high-standard experimental test equipment, including audio analyzers, multi-channel sound cards, simulated human heads, monitor-level speakers, acoustic calibrators, etc. The completed laboratory is a full anechoic chamber (no sound chamber), which can effectively avoid the influence of the external environment and provide a stable low-noise (<10dB) test environment. It can perform headphone active noise reduction (ANC) tests, as well as microphones (including MEMS microphones and electret microphones) and speakers. Other electroacoustic indicators such as frequency response, distortion, and signal-to-noise ratio tests.
Lin Songyi, General Manager of EDOM Technology South China, said: "From a market perspective, the market for smart voice, smart speakers, and TWS headphones is constantly maturing and growing. From the perspective of EDOM's own development, the number of audio-related product lines we represent is increasing. Therefore, with the increasing demand for audio testing from EDOM and its partners, having a well-equipped and fully functional acoustic laboratory is of great importance to the company's strategic development. Based on these considerations, EDOM decided to set up an acoustic laboratory in its Shenzhen office in order to provide better services to customers and original equipment manufacturers."
The acoustic laboratory currently built by EDOM is a fully anechoic room, and a reverberation room will be built soon. By then, EDOM's acoustic laboratory will be more complete and can better serve its partners.
