Component selection:
S1 and S2 switches are self-locking power switches with contact current of SA or above; S3 uses a protective break button.
KM uses an AC contactor with a coil voltage of 220V and a contact current of 10A.
KT uses an AC 220V time relay with a delay time range of 0.4-1805.
QF uses a low-voltage circuit breaker of 380V and 10-20A.
EL uses the original lighting lamp.

When in use, first turn on the low-voltage circuit breaker QF, then turn on the control switch S1 and the light switch S2. The sewing worker puts his foot on the clutch pedal to disconnect the foot switch S3, and its KM is energized and attracted. Its normally open contacts KM1 and KM2 are connected, the motor M starts to run, the lighting lamp EL is lit, and the worker can start sewing.
When changing jobs during sewing or operation, the sewing worker takes his foot off the clutch pedal, S3 is closed, the time relay KT is energized and attracted, and the delay starts. When the predetermined delay time is reached, the normally closed contact of KT delayed disconnection is disconnected, KM is de-energized and released, M stops running, and EL goes out, thereby avoiding M's no-load power consumption.
When the sewing worker continues to work, he steps on the clutch pedal again to disconnect S3, KT is de-energized and reset, KM is energized and attracted, M starts running, and sewing starts again.
If lighting is needed during the stoppage of M, the manual lighting switch S2 can be turned on to light EL.

As shown in the figure, the no-load energy saver circuit of the electric sewing machine consists of a control switch S1, light switches S2 and S4, an AC contactor KM, a foot switch S3, a time relay KT and a low-voltage circuit breaker QF. EL is a lighting lamp and M is an electric sewing machine motor.
