ATV signal down converter
The RF converter converts 420-450MHz (amateur TV) signals to channel 3 or 4 of VBF. These signals can be received using a standard TV set. RF amplifier Q1 sends the signal to mixer M1. Q3 is an intermediate frequency amplifier. Q2 is a frequency adjustable oscillator operating at about 378MHz, with a frequency adjustment range of about 30MHz.
