This radio frequency converts amateur television signals from the 420 to 450 MHz region to VHF channel 3 or 4 and allows reception of these signals on television reception standards. RF amplifier Q1 is provided to mixer M1, and Q3 acts as an RF amplifier. Q2 is an oscillator that operates around 378MHz and is adjustable over a 30MHz range.
