Acceleration circuit and its waveform
The accelerating capacitor C and the transistor input resistor R form a differential circuit. When the input signal jumps positively, it can provide a much larger forward base current than without the accelerating capacitor, so that the transistor quickly reaches saturation, as shown in the figure. When the input signal jumps downward, it can also provide a large reverse base current to dissipate the charge stored in the base area, and the transistor quickly enters the cut-off state.
