Equipment used before modification: host Pioneer DEH-P1; amplifier: Magron 4*100W; front speaker: Pioneer C-130R; rear speaker: Alpine 694A.
  
Modification purpose: requires pure vocals, violin, piano, serenade and other works, must have clear and soft treble, sweet midrange, strong and clear but not heavy bass... Based on my many years of experience in playing home audio, with LS3/5A as the reference sound quality, the modified sound quality should at least reach 80%-90% of the former... This is the speaker seat for the 6-inch speaker of the front door, made of MDF and polished smooth, it took one day, not to mention the long time, poor polishing will affect the appearance after completion.

  This is the Alpine 649A speaker at the back. Since I don’t pursue strong bass and have no plan to install a subwoofer, the position has not been changed in this modification. I just changed the original dual-tone input to only connect the bass as a supplement to the front door speakers. . . .

  This is the front door after reinforcement and soundproofing, all made of German Wood soundproofing material. The lower left is the new speaker position, the original speaker position and other holes are sealed with fiberboard (fixed with screws for easy future maintenance), and then soundproofing material is affixed to the surface.

  This is the finished picture of me moving the Pioneer C-130R speaker set that was originally used on the front door to the rear door. In fact, the sound quality of this pair of speakers is quite good, but my requirements were too special, so I had to let it go... The price is about 1,200 yuan.

  The 694A speakers at the back are also the most controversial. Most modification shops will say that the bass is not enough, but for me personally, what bass needs is quality, not weight. The price is 890 (wholesale) and around 1200 (retail).

  This is a photo of the front door after it was completed. The speaker is KEF KER 160B, and the matching tweeter is KEF KER 23. KEF is a well-known British audiophile manufacturer. Unfortunately, the factory's car audio products were discontinued two years ago. I finally found it after searching for a long time. The sound effect is warm and sweet, and the price is 4XXX yuan.

  This is the most expensive part of the modification process---the trunk. The two transparent boxes on the upper left are the crossovers of the KEF speakers in the front, and the lower left is the British GENESIS amplifier, model AUL MONO 2*100W, which is a super audiophile brand. The price in the UK is 500 pounds, plus tariffs and dealer profits, you can calculate how much it costs yourself. In the middle is a large capacitor, and on the right is the British MACROM 4*100W amplifier, which costs more than 3,500 yuan and drives the two pairs of speakers at the back.

  The above equipment plus the host Pioneer DEH-P1 (6,000 yuan), including sound insulation, cables and labor, the total cost exceeds 25,000 yuan.
