If you can receive the Asia 3S satellite, you can adjust the azimuth of the satellite antenna and generally you can receive it. The following is a method of adjusting satellite programs collected from the Internet for reference only:

Method 1: First, choose to add a transponder or set a TV program, and enter the satellite program parameters of ChinaSat 6B. At this time, only the signal strength is more than 70%, and the signal quality is zero or very small, indicating that the connection is correct, but the azimuth and elevation angles are not adjusted properly. Use the star alignment guide to determine and estimate the azimuth and elevation angles of the received satellite. If there is no elevation meter, you can use the following method to adjust: The following is the adjustment method for receiving satellites. First, determine the approximate position of the antenna azimuth. Then adjust the elevation angle. The elevation angle is not fixed at first, and the elevation angle is adjusted repeatedly. After each adjustment of the elevation angle, turn the azimuth angle and see if the signal quality changes. As long as there is a small change, it means that the satellite signal has been captured. Then carefully adjust the azimuth and elevation angles. When the signal quality reaches more than 30%, you can watch the program. Finally, adjust the polarization angle and focal length of the high-frequency head. The polarization angle is equal to the satellite diameter minus the local diameter. The zero degree of the high-frequency head is in the horizontal position. As long as you adjust carefully, you will definitely reach the best state. After adjustment, press the OK button and it will be OK. This is the satellite. Other programs can be entered one by one. If there is an automatic search, you can also search and you will find them all.

Method 2: Before adjusting the satellite receiving antenna, you should know the downlink frequency, polarization mode and other parameters of the satellite TV program being watched, and adjust the polarization mode first, and then fine-tune the polarization after receiving the satellite signal. The most difficult part of adjusting the satellite antenna is adjusting the azimuth and elevation. The azimuth, elevation, and polarization mode of the receiving antenna must be adjusted well, and the reception parameters of the satellite TV program must be accurate to obtain high-quality images. After finding the azimuth and elevation, adjust the antenna to the azimuth and elevation of the received satellite. When adjusting, you can use a compass and an inclinometer to roughly determine the values of the azimuth and elevation of the antenna. Generally, adjust the azimuth first and then the elevation. The coarse adjustment of the antenna azimuth is to use the antenna column foot as the midpoint, use a compass to determine the south direction, use a protractor to measure the azimuth angle, and turn the antenna to point to the approximate position of the azimuth. The coarse adjustment of the antenna elevation can be made with a protractor with a large radius and a thin rope with a heavy hammer to make an elevation measuring instrument. Use a long rope to divide the antenna aperture into two semicircles, place the starting edge of the measuring instrument against the rope of the antenna aperture, and adjust the elevation angle of the antenna so that the angle indicated by the weight line is equal to the elevation angle of the antenna. The azimuth and elevation angles of Asia-2, Asia-3, Asia-Pacific-1A, and Xinnuo-1 satellites received by major cities in my country are for readers' reference. The azimuth adjustment rules can be seen from the azimuth values. For example, the longitude of Hotan City, Xinjiang is 79.94°, and its azimuth angles are less than 90° except for the Asia-Pacific-2R satellite. When searching for satellites, adjust from due south to east. The longitude of Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province is 131.17°, and its azimuth angles are greater than 180° except for the Asia-Pacific-1A satellite. When searching for satellites, adjust from due south to west.

After the elevation, azimuth and polarization angles are adjusted, the up and down positions of the feed source can be adjusted if necessary to ensure that the feed source is installed vertically and exactly at the focus of the parabola so that the received signal strength is displayed at the maximum.
