How to make RJ45 twisted pair cable plug
When making RJ45 twisted pair cables, our general principle is:
use one strand of wire for 12,
one strand of wire for 36, and
connect the other wires at will, just make sure both sides are consistent.
For cables used for HUB cascade or connecting two computers without a HUB,
I just keep one end unchanged and swap the wire pairs 1-2 and 3-6 on the other end.
But if you look at the wiring of professional network companies, the colors are also consistent with what I said.
There are 8 wires in a twisted pair cable, divided into 4 pairs, twisted in pairs,
green and white green twisted, blue and white blue twisted, ....
My way of expressing it is:
copper sheet upward, connection line at the bottom, count from left to right: 12345678 these numbers indicate the position,
the so-called 1236 connection.
1236 is the upstream and downstream data transmission line, 12 is a pair, 36 is a pair,
RJ45 twisted pair cable is defined as:
1 Rx+
2 Rx-
3 Tx+
6 Tx-
The rest 4,5,7,8 are NA.
We just need to use 12 twisted together with one strand of wire, and
36 twisted together with one strand of wire, and that's it.
Remember to use one pair for 1-2 and another pair for 3-6. Do not connect 1-2 as one pair, 3-4 as one pair, and 5-6 as one pair...
The latter can also pass at short distances (according to the standard, the longest can be 150 meters), and simple line test tools
will not make mistakes, but the bit error rate is high. This is because it will cause a group of signals (negative voltage signals)
to be transmitted through two core wires that are not twisted together, causing great near-end crosstalk.
(TIA/EIA568A) defines the following order:
copper sheet upwards, connecting wires at the bottom, counting from left to right: 12345678 indicates the position,
1->orange and white------------- 1->orange and white
2->orange ------------- 2->orange
3->green and white------------- 3->green and white
4->blue ------------- 4->blue
5->blue and white
------------- 5->blue and white
6->green ------------- 6->green
7->brown and white--------- 7->brown and white
8->brown ------------- 8->brown
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are also crossover cables, which are used for HUB cascading or connecting two computers without going through a HUB.
1->Orange and white------------- 1->Green and white
2->Orange ------------- 2->Green
3->Green and white------------- 3->Orange and white
4->Blue ------------- 4->Blue
5->Blue and white------------- 5-
>Blue and white 6->Green ------------- 6->Orange
7->Brown and white------------- 7->Brown and white
8->Brown ------------- 8->Brown
Just swap the positions of the wire pairs in 1-2, 3-6!
