With the development of digital audio technology, the low-frequency response of many sound sources has reached or exceeded the lower limit of human hearing, 20HZ. In order to fully reproduce the bass information contained in the program source, the traditional left and right speakers are no longer able to do so. The solution is to add a speaker with a built-in subwoofer amplifier, which is dedicated to subwoofer playback. It can be combined with the original left and right channel speakers (especially the combination speakers with poor low-frequency response) to form a 3D system, which can achieve immediate sound effects and lay the foundation for future multi-channel home theaters.

The following introduces the subwoofer playback system. It only needs to be connected to the speaker output end of the original audio equipment to form a 3D system. The circuit is shown in Figure 9-22.

Take the left and right channel signals from the output terminal of the speaker of the voluntary audio equipment, mix them through R1 and R2, buffer them through ICIA, and then send them to the high and low pass filters.
