There are currently three popular surround sound effect processing methods: one is the 4-4-4 separation system. When recording music programs, this system records the sound information of the front left, front right, rear left and rear right on four tracks of a carrier such as a tape. When playing back, the original channel signals are played back. This system is complex and expensive, making it difficult to promote. The second is the encoding method 4-2-4 system, which is mostly used in the Dolby surround sound movie sound reproduction system in stereo cinemas. It has been gradually used in home audio equipment and is called Dolby logic surround sound, but the price is not low, and it is still difficult for working-class enthusiasts to use it. The third is called the 2-2-4 pseudo-surround sound system. Its processing method is: the left and right channel signals of the two-channel stereo are played back as the front left and right signals after composite mute processing. At the same time, another group of signals are separated and processed by the surround sound processing system to generate simulated surround sound signals, which are sent to the surround sound speakers for playback. This method of generating surround sound is more common in mid- and low-end combination audio systems.
