(Eight-way NPN Darlington Connection Transistor Array series is particularly suitable for the interface between low logic level digital circuits (such as TTL, CMOS or PMOS/NMOS) and higher current/voltage requirements. It is widely used in computers, industrial and consumer products. Lamps, relays, print hammers or other similar loads. All devices have open-collector outputs and freewheeling clamping diodes to suppress transitions. The ULN2803 is designed to be compatible with standard TTL series, while the ULN2804 is best suited for 6 to 15 volt high-level CMOS or PMOS.
