How to fix the poor contact of the sealed double linkage plate

One of the most common faults of sealed double connection is the poor mechanical contact between the rotating shaft of the moving piece and the lead welding piece of the common ground wire of the radio. If a multimeter is used to measure the resistance value of several tens of Ω, and it changes with the rotation of the shaft. When the radio is tuned, a "scratching" sound or "clicking" sound is made, which is mostly caused by the above reasons.
Repair method: Remove the dust cover of the capacitor, remove the fixing nuts at the four corners, and carefully remove the rear fixing cover. You can see the contact between the lead welding piece of the common ground wire and the center point of the shaft (referred to as the center point of the shaft, see the figure).
For 5-8 (a), use a No. 2 sewing needle to pick it up from two directions twice to form a convex shape; for the two double connections shown in Figure 5-8 (b), the one with two spring arms on the side should be bent down at a certain angle, and a little engine oil should be applied to the center of the shaft.
After the above treatment, install it as it is, tighten the nuts, buckle the dust cover, and it can be used on the machine.
