Repair of the sliding joint of the telescopic antenna
The main reason for the failure of the sliding joint is that the elastic support sheet (thin phosphor copper sheet) at the end of the inner sleeve falls off or loses its elasticity, causing the antenna section to slide back after being pulled out. The sections cannot be positioned.
The repair method of the pull rod antenna sliding joint is shown in Figure 5-103. The operation steps are:
Step 1: Pull out the antenna. And saw it off from the root to separate the antenna rod from the socket column;
Step 2: Unload the faulty section in order from coarse to fine to see if the elastic support sheet falls off or is damaged (there are two elastic support sheets, placed symmetrically). If it is damaged, find a thin phosphor copper sheet (such as the contact spring sheet of the JRX-13F relay), cut it into the corresponding shape, and shape it so that it can be attached to the inner sleeve section. If the elasticity of the elastic support sheet is weakened, it can be unloaded and re-bent to increase the supporting elastic force, and then the two elastic support sheets are installed on the card seam.
Step 3: Push this section into the outer sleeve section and try the tightness between the section. If it is too loose or too tight, the bending of the copper sheet should be readjusted.
Step 4: Assemble the sections in order from thin to thick, and finally re-secure the antenna to the socket post as described in the previous example.
