The IGLOO nano entry-level kit is fully RoHS compliant and includes a tiny modular board with an IGLOO nano AGLN250 device in a VQG100 package and a tiny low-cost programming stick (LCPS). This kit is a complete solution that allows users to quickly evaluate Actel IGLOO family devices and prototype their designs.
Actel IGLOO devices are the industry's lowest power FPGAs. IGLOO devices not only have low dynamic power, but also combine low static power and Flash*Freeze technology to make the overall system power consumption lower than any other FPGA. The Nano tool kit has detailed current monitoring capabilities, allowing users to directly measure the low power consumption obtained using IGLOO nano devices and verify the performance of the design. This on-board programmer can easily implement ISP, device serialization and FlashLock system-on-chip security features.
Since IGLOO nano devices are pin-compatible with ProASIC3 nano devices, this kit can also be used for prototyping of ProASIC3 nano and low-power leader IGLOO nano devices.
The IGLOO nano modular board features onboard voltage regulation, allowing users to individually set certain I/O group voltages. The IGLOO nano device can operate at a core voltage of 1.2 V to 1.5 V, allowing users to perform power consumption measurement experiments on 1.5 V operating circuits versus 1.2 V operating circuits without having to change jumper settings during programming.
Key Features:
