Analysis of LCD working principle:

1. LCD hardware architecture:

LCD hardware system: You can see that the LCD controller is in the ARM processor, and the LCD screen and processor are connected together with a flat cable. The LCD driver chip is in the middle.

1.1 LCD:

Liquid crystal is an organic compound with long rod-like molecules. Under the action of different electric currents, the molecules will rotate regularly, which will have a certain control (refract) of the light (generated by the backlight) to form a pixel, and many pixels can form a complete image.

1.3 LCD driver chip:

The LCD driver chip is a module that controls the changes in liquid crystal molecules and provides voltage for the deflection of liquid crystal molecules. Usually, the LCD driver chip is built on the same circuit board as the LCD panel.

From the above figure, we know that the reason why liquid crystal molecules can achieve regular deflection is because of the deflection voltage. The deflection voltage of the driver chip is based on the information of the LCD controller:
