When I was looking through the literature, I saw that the BAW resonator I was going to make could be used for phase shifting function, but I didn't quite understand what phase we were moving. This is because the resonator is used to process the acoustic signal converted from electrical signals, and the waveform is often not a sine wave. The processed signal can be decomposed into sine waves of different frequencies through Fourier transform. At this time, we need to change the so-called signal phase. What exactly is this phase? Let me add: Assuming that the received signal is a simple square wave (or a PWM wave with different duty cycles), a sawtooth wave or a triangle wave, what is the effect of phase shifting it? For example, how will these waves change if the phase is shifted by 45°?
