Sometimes after burning u-boot.bin with tera term and setting the S1L boot parameters correctly, U-Boot still cannot be started. Usually, the binary option is not selected in tera term when transferring u-boot.bin.

The following describes the whole process by taking burning u-boot.bin that supports ubifs as an example.

(1) First use the software that comes with the CD to burn kickstart and s1l.

(2) Enter s1l and enter the command once:

erase 2 10 1 // Erase the 10 U-Boot spaces from 2 to 11,

If you want to completely re-burn, you can enter erase 2 2046 1 // Erase all NAND except kickstart and s1l

load term raw 0x83f80000

(3) Select file->send file of tera term, and select binary in the file transfer interface:

After the transmission is completed, send the termination signal ALT+B

(4) Enter nsave and aboot flash raw 0x83f80000 to complete the save and boot parameter settings.

Appendix: Startup Effect

kickstart init ok!

copy s1l to memery!

jump to s1l!

6. S3C2440 is an improved version of S3C2410. Their operations are basically similar, except for some minor differences in the settings of the system clock and the operation of the NAND Flash controller. . What I have to do next is to make a U-Boot binary code run on both S3C2410 and S3C2440.         Although my board
