2.4 Module construction in Simulink
The modules in Simulink are shown in Figure 1. The three OPC modules require some simple settings (or configurations). The OPC read module is used to read the regulator output signal in WINCC, and the OPC write module is used to write process quantities to WINCC. In the OPC data exchange state, the simulation is real-time, or more correctly, pseudo-real-time.
